The Final Countdown - Composed by Joey Tempest in 1986, and performed by the Swedish Group - Europe. In this recording this famous song is played live by Miss Denise Hewitt on a Technics SX-PR903 Digital Piano in full electronic synthesiser mode. The opening photo in the titles was taken by Denise just before sunset at the beautiful Valley of Desolation near the town of Graaf Reinet in South Africa. -------------------------------------------------- Were leaving together, But still its farewell And maybe we'll come back, To earth, who can tell? I guess there is no one to blame We're leaving ground Will things ever be the same again? Its the final countdown.............. We're heading for venus and still we stand tall 'Cause maybe they've seen us and welcome us all With so many light years to go and things to be found I'm sure that we all miss her so. ----------------------------------------------------
