I'd say that is unlikely, with people like Robert Plant around...or Axl Roseif you listen to 5.00 onwards of "Sweet Child of Mine", you'll know what I mean, I'm not saying these guys are the best, I'm just saying that there are better singers...or do you mean backing vocals included? In that case I'd listen to "I Want It All" by Queen.

I played Rubber Soul and Pet Sounds back to back and I just laughed...wha​t's with these comparisons? The only thing about Rubber Soul that influenced Brian was the fact that it was a collective unit of equally brilliant stuff. That's what he did with Pet Sounds. It had less to do with style and more to do with ambition
