I don't think it's a brit thing, it's an announcer thing...same with the movie voice guys in American previews with the kind of "standard" plain American accent almost out of 50's California or New England or something..but with that booming sound , very very extra low male voice, also whatever the accent is...if used correctly it's super cool and if not it's annoying.

i don't think she can do drama.. she was a light weight actress who apealed to guys who like skinny thin lipped blondes.. her career is over.. no streep, winslet, moore, or even the mediocre Sally field

The commentator is sounding his voice to such an extreme, that the comment seems to be more for children to understand rather than for adults. He would be better off, reading fairy tales to children rather than doing anything else. Why do Brits always exaggerate everything they say with an extreme tone in their voice?

I agree. I was so surprised to see her after she had plastic surgery. I would have thought she would have had more self confidence...​.and not have to that to herself. My husband is a plastic surgeon and I see so many seeking to look better to be 'more attractive'. She was so cute and natural and din't need to do anything. But, it may look more natural as time goes by.

Duh, Meg Ryan HAS to take on more «challenging​» roles now that she's over 40 and not so cute anymore. She spent her youth being the bubbly, adorable blond of romantic comedies. If she wants to keep making movies she has to try something else now. It's about time, though too bad she didn't have this initiative sooner.

that plumped upper lip hides that deformed gummy smile.. her face use to remind me of someone who had a stroke with a droopy mouth and gummy teeth. she had surgery to hide the flaw the camera tried to avoid
