Jake's WAS a Hog "Stop" Dog! Jake R,I.P. 8/9/07
Jake did it again, this time against a 200lb boar that knocked someone down and took off running. He caught and stopped the hog cold in its tracks! Jake is gone now, thanks to someone who poisoned him, but his memory will live on.

| Btw i like that reverse black and tan. i hunt 1/2 blackmouth, 1/4 mountain cur, and 1/4 bird dog. i have 7 of these pups like this and ive hunted em for two years and breedin the bird dog in them really helped but we hood hunt at night in oklahoma so they have to have a nose. | |

I have seen my catch dogs get gutted, throats cut, and jaws broken and thats all with cut vests and cut collars on. ppl under estimate the power of a big boar with 2 inch cutters. they can do a lota damage because ther solid muscle. i have had dogs get ther cut vests and collars cut completly off of them and had dogs die from gettin cut through the vests. puttin vests on them isnt a full proof thing. they have weak spots and corners that a pig can get his teeth under and cut a dog. | |
