Actually, Anonymous wears those masks for two reasons: 1. To protect their Identity. The Church of Scientology is notorious for harassing anyone who it identifies. ​2. Story of V for Vendetta. The main character (forgot his name) is fighting a totalitarian government. totalitariani​sm is when the government tries to control every aspect of one's life, whether it be private or public. That's what the CoS (or Co$) has been doing, trying to control lives of its followers.
