at about 9:37- 9:40 Listen to Alex His Canadian accent really comes through, Soun​ds like he should of had a part in the movie "Fargo" These guys are ABSOLUTELY PHENOMINAL If you've never seen RUSH live, you've done yourself an injustice so far 3 guys that sound like a FIVE man band, and they play so tightly together, and for as how intricate and difficult their catalog is to play that is incredible!! Ive always like RUSH but when I saw them live I was hooked

That was an excellent interview! I love Rush. I loved how the reason they chose neil to do the lyrics was cause they noticed he reads alot of books lol. Rush should be in the Rock and Roll hall of fame. Write the rock and roll hall of fame, write your congress, write your mayor! Put rush in the Rock and roll hall of fame!

This interview almost totally skipped the mid/late 80's era Signals to Hold Your Fire era that I grew up with and wanted to know more about from their personal studio album and tour detail perspectives of that time. I'd also like to know why they totally abandoned synthesizers?​?? Vapor Trails was a total bomb...maybe synths coulda helped it out a bit

I like what Geddy says when he mentions that there were pockets of time where Rush were/are wildly popular, and then pockets of time where the opposite is true. By doing that, I think the band has managed to retain a bit of mystery about them. And I also think that's what intrigues a lot of people. It's no wonder they're so popular today. If they ever decide to call it a day, the world will be a much more dismal place.

You are all too right, sbrushfan! ;) I would say that more in regards to Geddy, but to each their own, right? ^_^ While you were marveling at Alex, I was marveling at Geddy. XD He's always been one good-looking gentleman, for 30 years and hopefully beyond. :3 It may be strange hearing that from a sixteen-year-​old, but it's true. *Shrug* Call me crazy, finding a 56-year-old Rock musician attractive, but it's true. :)~

samjacksonswig ,,your so right ther,ive played myself since i was 12 (1976),this was pionted out about kate bush,she was signed at like age 16 and given money and time to train untill 21,she used to cash to learn dancing and fare enough she used that so well in her act,all this xfactor is ok on the 1 hand,but no 1 has the time to learn music and song writting,and ther not looked for so it ends up we dont get great songs like the old days had so many,,,,loved​ rush since my school days
