I had a 1.8 k series Freelander and it was a god damned shocking engine on that car. The headgasket failed nearly every year, and two of the bolts actually stretched too much, which meant that in turn the engine came apart whilst driving. Sho​cking engine in the FL, sounds like its a gooden in the smaller cars though?
