Of course vedges are not poisonous(inf​act they are very important for the huge quantity of vitamins and antioxidants they provide), but we are OMNIVORES and so we MUST eat a little bit of everything to avoid lack OR overmeasures of nutrients. Al​so we need to eat 3 fatty acids and 9 amino acides that our body is not able to produce and are found in a variety of foods. In any case, your diet should be divided in: 60% glucides 25% lipides 15% protides

You're much more likely to ruin your body with fast food than something like this. Are raw vegetables and spices poisonous? I​ would probably take vitamins and protein shakes along with a diet like this though. My first goal is to get to 25% raw.

Thank you for inspiring me to in the next few days begin making the transition to a raw lifestyle. I recently weighed in at 380 lbs. and have been looking into making this change for not only weight loss but for beyond weight loss as well. If you have any pointers on doing this for weight loss I'd appreciate it.

thats funny, because unless you anorexic it's impossible to gain on raw food. no matter how much you eat. just try it, eat as much as you what for like a week and see how your body reacts.

I really want to try and do this. But I have a question... How do you know how much to eat? I'd be afraid I'd eat all raw foods, but eat too much and make myself fatter or not change at all.
