Airline Panic Attack [ORIGINAL]

I don't know what happened here. But this happened on my Air Canada plane ride to London, England in December 6th, 2007 from Toronto. At 3:15 sec he says "f'in white people". I personally believe that another passenger somehow provoked or encouraged this persons paranoid behaviour. What is important is that everybody arrived safely. I am no medical doctor so I have no idea what this man was going through, but I feel that he seemed more concerned for his own safety? I think he was scared. I think it's a very fascinating phenomenon. My partner and I decided we should videotape this in the interest of sharing the experience we went through on this plane with those interested. NEW (My Partner has requested that I add this info that she has written) - Dec 17, 2007: "I've been wanting to avoid making a post about this video, but feel I had to after all the false presumptions I'm reading. I am the "partner" of 2003Tiburon. Clarification #1 He's a man, and I'm a woman #2 We kept filming this because we were concerned for the man re: recent Vancouver airport incident #3 He is not a prisoner being deported. Where he is in the video isn't his original seat. He was brought to the middle aisle so that he could be better restrained by the man sitting on each side of him. Several plastic cuffs were brought out by the flight attendants almost as soon as the man started yelling #4 Yes it was scary at times, but the crew and a couple of fellow passengers did an excellent job and I commend them, I also commend the calm nature of my fellow passengers despite the unsettling circumstances. #5 I was awoken by his screaming, so I'm not positive if he was set off by anyone. I do know that a large white British man would walk by him and antagonize him. This was equally annoying, because it was usually when the man had quieted down. #6 This man is likely Indian decent, he mentions Muslims, but its not exactly complimentary, HOWEVER I could really care less about this - didn't matter to me who was screaming - white, Chinese, innu - it would have been equally unnerving."

I flew for years and had one bad experince and stopped. When I had to fly again for an emergency trip I was scared for my life. My husband (whom had never flown) and myself made it there okay. On the return flight I got off two planes one having to taxi back FROM the runway... I was asked to leave the airport and we had to take a 22 hour greyhound bus ride home. I can totally understand how this poor man felt, because I felt the same way.

Wow, this is sad! I have anxiety and know what full blown panic attacks are like. people react differently to them and this guy is having a major panic attack. During my panic attacks, I am quite and wouldn't be this loud (I think). We don't know if he is afraid of flying , if they had severe turbulence. This must have been horrifying because the last thing you want to do is have people holding you down. Panic attacks give you this fear that you want to flee. It's a control thing.

Anxiety is no fucking laughing matter,I've had several panic attacks throughout my life and it's extremely horrible.Panic attacks basically turn your entire body into a sense of fear and makes VERY aggressive and uncomfortable​ to people around you at the moment.You start sweating and your heart POUNDS,you really feel like you're about to die.

I feel bad for this man. He is stuck on a very long flight and I am listening to him. CHECK OUT HIS WORDS. Help me! I'm dying, yes I'm going to die. GIve me water. Shoot me! I don't care just shoot me. I don't care if I die. First he wants help then he turns the opposite direction and says hit me and shoot me I don't care. He has so much adrenaline in his blood stream he has lost his self esteem and a sense of well being. He thinks this is the end of him so he freaks out. That's my take.

Notice what he says in the begining. " Help me!! I'm going to die!!" NOT we are giong to crash and die. He is worried about himself. The guys sitting next to him were self confident and they said, " No you are not going to die, you are fine." Then later on he wanted water. While his heart is racing at very high speeds his hands are sweating and his mouth is getting dry from talking so much. This is a classic Panic Attack text 101 at it's peak. He feels stuck and he wants help, he wants out now.

I got like this a couple of times myself but not on a plane. I use to work for United Airlines and I use to fly every week somewhere. But panic attacks started happening when I tried weed. My heart took off in the 200 range and I thought that I was just seconds not minutes but seconds from leaving the planet and meeting our Creator. That is a huge thing to feel. It's like being shot and you know you got a couple of seconds to live. The feelings are so real your mind can't think straight.

Because he lost control of his senses and they want to take extra measures so he doesn't hit people. See he is having a huge PANIC ATTACK.....I get those. I was like this except I was drove myself speeding to the ER and I was begging for them to save my life. I was like can someone please help me. Just like he said. They looked at my heart it was from 164 to 185 beats per minute. To be honest anxiety is just apprehension and he let his thoughts get worse and it turned into a panic attack is all.
