Isn't it interesting how all the violin instructors seem to teach you to hold your bow a certain way, and yet NONE of the great masters hold it that way? lol... that tells me these instructors may not exactly know what they're talking about, haha. I find it fun to observe the mechanics of how the violin is actually played by the greats. It really is a marvelous instrument demanding an INCREDIBLE amount of technical skill. Simply AMAZING!!!

Yes, Yngwie has been very open about the influences of Paganini (the original shredmeister). He sometimes includes short passages from Paganini or other composers as tributes in his own songs.

this man is ...   (Kiljadin666)5.3.2010
this man is definitely the best violin player i have ever heard. not only is he able to play several lines of notes in different positions extremely quickly, but he incorporates so many different techniques carried out to such perfection that i have never seen before. the way he bounces his bow, shakes it to get a slight trill, plays chords on opposite ends of the violin perfectly, the pizzicato with one hand, just to name a few.
