Another classic rock & roll hit by the one and only Little Richard. It's impossible to imagine rock & roll without this killer track.

your knowledge is DAMN limited, the "rock n roll" phrase was first coined by boswell sisters in 1934.. Alan freed was liar and a self-estimator.

keep arguing with me, do you know who was the real creator of Elvis' song Hound Dog, ok, lol, you just keep looking stupid
justicejayant19.11.2008
Yes i know, Freddie bell and his bellboys was real creator of hound dog. Elvis had seen them in las vegas, and he got impressed with the song, he asked freddie bell that can he cover his song? He said you can. Elvis had live performed that song in 1956.

Freed is credited with using the phrase "rock & roll" to describe the genre of music played at the time.Yes the term was used as an entendre for having sex before him. The Boswell Sisters in their song "Rock & Roll did use the phrase but did so to describe the motion of a ship at sea. What I'm saying is that Freed was the first person credited (not saying he created the term it just happens to be the hes one credited for creating it)with using the phrase to describe the music of the period.

who cares whos credited with describing the music, the whole term is African American, and the whole genre came out of the African AMerican experience lol

wrong , it was Big Mama THornton
justicejayant19.11.2008
100% wrong!
justicejayant19.11.2008
Well, i was correct.. Leiber and Stoller, the two white guys had wrote hound dog for big mama, but later they had also wrote hound dog for Freddie bell, and except the title, nothing was same with big mama hound dog. When Elvis had covered hound dog, he had credited it to leiber and stoller.
