Jimmie Reign PTBTV Interview (GO GIRL kaz kyzah CLYDE CARSON aaliyah BAY AREA R&B)

PTBTV aka Pushin' The Bay EXCLUSIVE! In this exclusive / raw video, Emcee T speaks with R&B sensation Jimmie Reign. Take the sex appeal and beauty of Aaliyah, the writing prowess of Alicia Keys, then add the vocal talent of Tamia and you've almost figured it out. Emerging directly on the heels of the new-found success of E-40 and Too Short who helped bring the Bay lifestyle back into the nations consciousness, JIMMIE REIGN has been swiftly blazing up the Bay Area's radio charts with her debut single "Trying 2 Be Your Girl" featuring Clyde Carson of The Team. To some it might seem like instant gratification but her rise to the top has been nothing of the sort. JIMMIE started singing and penning hit songs professionally at the tender age of 14 and is known as one of the fastest songwriters in the Bay, creating feel-good music in less than 20 minutes. Since then she has worked with producer Brian Morgan (SWV), Terry Ellis of En Vogue, and producer Paul Anthony of Full Force (Backstreet Boys) among others. Recently she has been working on projects with Damon Eden, A&R for Atlantic Records, whose credits include Pretty Ricky & Trick Daddy, BedRock (The A'z "Yaddadamean", Goapele "Different"), J. Valentine (City Boyz Music/ J Records). Most recently her angelic voice has been featured on The Team's "World Premiere" Album, and Kaz Kyzah's "Go-fessional" Mixtape. Radio stations have been fielding calls from major recording industry executives who want to know "Who is Jimmie Reign?" The cream of the crop already know: "Jimmie Reign is my best kept secret. She is one of my favorite singer/songwriters because she sings with so much passion and her lyrics are so heartfelt. I don't know why she hasn't been put on yet!" -Damon Eden, A&R, Atlantic Records Get ready for the reign of JIMMIE !!! *FACT!* Jimmie has opened shows for: Goapele, R. Kelly, Rapahael Saadiq, Latoya London, Bilal, Keyshia Cole, and Jagged Edge. Collabs/Hooks/Writing Lea (Li'l Flip's "Sunshine) Brian Morgan/ Takako/Sony Music (Uh Huh) Richie Rich, B.Legit, Too Short (Let's Get This Money) The Team (World Premiere) Clyde Carson (Theatre Music) Kaz Kyzah (Gofessional) Mayne Mannish (Go Girl Mixtape) J. Look at rap, lil ...   (0194D)28.2.2010
Look at rap, lil wayne is not the best just b/c he has been the only rapper to sell a million in a week in the past couple years, so is he the best, no. I was a little brutal with what I was saying, this is what I think. (And I am speaking about the fans after her death Good artist, obviously her fans before her death are true fans) I don't think that she is that great I think she is more of on the positive side of music I don't think she is the queen I'm not denying her as a good artist
Of course alot of ...   (0194D)28.2.2010
Of course alot of her stans are original fans, what I'm saying is, is that she was popular but nearly as high as she was when she died(Of course) Now alot of people were not big fans of hers until she did, i said ALOT, not the majority 12,000,000 is alot but not close to the majority, I think she is a good artist, I just don't think she is great, nor do I like her music much, Now if someone sells 32 million thats good, but that doesn't mean they are the best, they might have just sold alot.
Oh wow, hurts my ...   (0194D)19.12.2009
Oh wow, hurts my feelings that some little girl typed in big caps and purposely used incorrect grammar, ohhhhhhhhh scary. No one is afraid of you trust me, you would not being talking all of this mess to my face.
What I'm saying is ...   (0194D)19.12.2009
What I'm saying is that SOME people were not fans until she died and then some called her an icon. read my damn comments you fucking idiot how does "SOME PEOPLE did not like aaliyah" sound like "everybody" learn to fucking read. My point is, is that she had fans that were there with her for her whole career, and "fans" that only "liked" her music after her death because they were falling up other people, the nonindividuals.

DOWN BITCH... U BETTA COME CORRECT
Some people did not ...   (0194D)19.12.2009
Some people did not claim her as an icon, until she died b/c they were following up the Aaliyah fans. They saw how many people really liked Aaliyah and did not want to be left out, just like how michael jackson is dead and many people don't make fun of him in public because they don't want michael fans to attack them. For one, Stay off my dick, for two, learn to fucking read better, for three stop repeating yourself, but I guess that comes after you learn to read better.
i kno what u said ...   (KingLild2010)19.12.2009

LOL at "stay pressed" wtf. hahaha I never said "everybody who like her became a fan after she passsed". What I said that is seems that SOME PEOPLE did not like aaliyah until she died. Damn read my fucking comments you damn twat, your are just repeating yourself. This is the reason why I said to you to stay out of the conversation because I knew you are a dumb nigga.

for one u dont know 6 billion ppl in the world..for two just bcuz u never gave a fuck about Aaliyah dont make it seem like everybody who like her became a fan after she passsed.. thats just bullshit..u didnt like her but 32 million ppl who bought her albums did.. stay pressed
Shut up please damn ...   (0194D)18.12.2009
Shut up please damn, you just stay out of the conversation. Both of you are just bugging because I've noticed that alot of people were not fans of her until she did, and alot of them did not call her an Icon. But the number of fans she had well over exceeded the number of people who did not like until she died and people who did not call her an icon until she died.
dont speak for the ...   (KingLild2010)17.12.2009
dont speak for the 32 million that she sold befor Death speak for the ones after...alot of her stans are orginal fans.. best belive..
When somebody dies, ...   (Dboy4100X3)17.12.2009
When somebody dies, they always get more listeners. But that doesnt mean They wernt popular BEFORE they died either.
You may like ...   (0194D)17.12.2009
You may like aaliyah, but you can speak for the everyone, not everyone liked her before she died. Just like MJ, everyone was tripping off of him until he died, now he has ultimater respect. Im not saying Aaliyah was not good or she was not liked but what I am saying is that alot of people didn't call her an icon or listen to her until she died. There is alot of people that was like that. Again i never said she was not good, I just don't like her.
I have NUMEROUS ...   (Dboy4100X3)16.12.2009
I have NUMEROUS quotes/video footage of people calling Aaliyah "a new queen of R & b" as stated by MTV, and vibe itself BEFORE she died. YOU may not care about her, but u cant speak for the millions that made her a multiplatinum star.
No! Nobody liked ...   (0194D)16.12.2009
No! Nobody liked called Aaliyah an Icon until she died, i never liked aaliyah. nor do i care that she died.
Please go some ...   (Dboy4100X3)15.12.2009
Please go some where with that shit. Is that Aaliyah's last album was hailed "One of the best albums of this time" By SEVERAL reviewers, even BEFORE she died? Aaliyah had respect BEFORE she died. In fact, Nobody never started to hate on Aaliyah until after she died.
are you a female? ...   (0194D)26.11.2009
are you a female? And i dont see how you can say she is not at least cute, in this video see is cute, but in other pictures she is fucking sexy.

The only reason why ...   (0194D)22.11.2009
The only reason why alot of ppl even respect or honor alot of aaliyah's music is because she died. If she didn't she wouldn't get as much respect as she has now.{that she is dead} no offense to anyone
honestly she ain't ...   (sashafierceification)18.9.2009
honestly she ain't even cute
She has a real nice ...   (DThaWarrior)16.6.2009
She has a real nice voice her mixtape is killer but that was kind of a big headed response saying she's "the first lady of the bay" because Keyshia cole got that title. And it's cool they compared her to Aaliyah but i hope she doesn't take that 2 the brain like Ciara, and Cassie. Cause there's only ONE Aaliyah. I like her, she's cool but with all these new artists coming out it makes me wonder how long she'll last in the industry
