Life and death are not a pair. Birth and death are a pair in Time. Life and Love are an Eternal Couple.
The outward ...   (Amirmourad)10.11.2009
The outward manifestations of the body and mind are always in a constant state of flux, without anything "permanent" in the process. The very fear of death is irrational and arises out of the idea that there is in fact some permanent entity within oneself - it is a longing for a continuum of that which does not exist. Death is not some phenomenon that occurs at the end of life, but in fact, life and death are already happening together within oneself simultaneously. Such is the nature of change

Death is the achievement of ultimate perfection, for only that which is perfect wants to die.
don't confuse ...   (jafomab)17.5.2009
don't confuse enlightenment with intelligence. enlightenment is only a concept, there is no such creature. those who claim to be enlightened are deceiving themselves. there is no magic wand of all knowing and all seeing. everyone, including Krishnamurti, makes mistakes and has human foibles. the altered state spoken of by K was a different experience, it was not a mental realization, that aspect is the purpose of the teaching. the benediction he spoke of is beyond all thought or words.
when you see the ...   (jafomab)17.5.2009
when you see the mental error, that is the end of it. that is it's death. when you really see your own wrong thinking, it leaves you forever. that is the beauty of meditation, that wonderful freedom of mind that follows the opening up of a once tethered mental process.
the ending of ...   (jafomab)17.5.2009
the ending of thought is the result of seeing when you are acting in a pattern. this 'death' is a sloughing away of the encrusted memory residue of daily experience. that pattern of thinking is conditioning, a conditioned response to something that you failed to confront or were unable to understand completely, so you reacted in a mediocre fashion that allowed you to escape the situation which was disturbing or boring, ect.
The incapacity to ...   (MSJ11)29.4.2009
The incapacity to accept separation from the Mother which confers individual life on all organisms, the incapacity of the human species to die, and therefore to live begins at birth, in the birth trauma. This is grounded in the biology of prolonged infancy, and its social correlate, the human family.

The incapacity to ...   (MSJ11)29.4.2009
The incapacity to die throws mankind out of the actuality of living, which for all animals is the same as dying. The result is denial of life (repression) and this causes mortality. This war against death results in the dominion of death in life and it takes the form of a preoccupation with the past and the future in which the present is lost.

right i mostly agree most people respond with from an egotistical standpoint.. a need to express themselves rather than just allowing truth .. because truth just is.. no right or wrong.. no need to further analyze and pick apart.. and the fact is all of this we speak is universal knowledge available to those who are paying attention.

J. Krishnamurti is such a jackass. If we knew " how to live " then we wouldn't be seeking your ass for wisdom. This ass Krishnamurti can't seem to give a straight answer. His philosophy is base on complicating shit.

the other observation i found useful from K was the way we are so conditioned to react to questions from him or authority like frightened rabbits, we go absolutely crazy trying produce an answer, and fudge anything to do so. we are never able to admit that WE DON'T KNOW a particular thing. that simple realization began my own change from being a K reader to actually living it. realize that you really just don't know this or that... and also, for this to work, as he said, EXPERIMENT with it.

thank you. i have wanted a discussion with like minded people for years but never could find anything on the web for talking about Krisnamurti. so this is one place where we can talk about the teaching.

Your comments were very insightful. A very rare thing, on youtube anyways. Some have the appearance of genuine understanding, but I can always sense a "clinging" to thought, or an attempt to have "it" figured out. Thank you.
thought (memory) ...   (jafomab)9.3.2009
thought (memory) acts in a "circle' which creates the center, which is YOU as ms. or mr. watch this movement and question it. watch yourself nonverbally in daily interaction. the only real time is chronological, tick tock, tick tock. mental time is a lie derived from memory. that's why gradual mental change is a lie also. when you see the falsity of the thing, you change INSTANTLY. no time is ever involved in real change. if so, congrats, your brain has just reorganized itself there.
he means death of ...   (jafomab)9.3.2009
he means death of thoughts not physical death. "thought is your enemy" as he said is this: we need thought to function in time, to remember, to act, to plan, to live...but the price of associative thought is that it creates false time as psychological time which entrapts you in maya. memories are only chemicals, not real things, therefore maya. to escape thought's cage, you must let it wither on the vine.

Very intelligent, wise man. I always get very inspired. His teachings are great but completely useless. You will not change or get happy or enlightend by listening to his talks. It's what he says; feel, think it over yourself, don'g get attached! Be a guru to yourself, K was the spaeking mirror you look in.
accepting life ...   (leafnspace)26.1.2009
accepting life certainly difficult at this period of my existence. i see and hear about death as a everyday comment with ease. accepting death or to be killed is the question of this new era of existence . to completely kill yourself to understand love is a evolution requires no revolution.
