Firefox! It has a far superior plug in culture. I use Ad Block Plus, Download Helper so I can save YouTube videos to my HD and No Script to give me total control over what scripts run in my browser therefore making even more secure. IE has insecure architecture. Unlike FF, IE is integrated into your OS! Therefore a security hole in IE is potentially a OS security hole. Only IE supports VB scripts and ActiveX controls, which only increases attack vectors to the browser.

@zylo17vengea​nce understand that this video is going on 5 years old, and they were talking about firefox the just realeased firefox 1.5 when this video was made, which was so new, it was one of the first browsers to have tabbed browsing, and that was all people needed to switch. now we would call that obsolete because we are a generation that requires better and better things, and our thirst for innovation is never assuaged.

1 makes some sense as we are all wary of having to learn something new when we've already learned one way. That is why Microsoft bundle MSIE with Windows rather than giving you a choice. If you can use MSIE then you can use Firefox. It is probably the easiest switchover of any application. MSIE users are shrinking (now down to 63%) and Firefox users are rising (now up to 25%). Perhaps you should check it out. 2 is no reason to prefer something, e.g. CRT monitors came way before LCD ones.

Haha, most of the people who used IE, only used it because they weren't used to Firefox, or they didn't have Firefox. Oh, And its a non-microsoft​ product FTW.
