@chiropractic47 Well, isn't everyone entitled to their own opinion?

I like how you quote "Death by Medicine". This is a poor theory. All these people died because they were being treated by medicine? Surely they died because they were ill, which warranted treatment by medicine, which probably actually extended their lives by many years. All those people were treated with medicine and all those people died? hmmmm.....they probably all breathed air as well.......I'll get started on the report, we must stop air!!

@chiropractic47 Just because something is wrong, it does not make you right. That's a logical fallacy. He may be right, he may be completely wrong. Neither of those situations have any bearing on homeopathy or chiropracty or any other type of nonsense.

dantheman, I know a lot about medicine. Medical school is very similar to chiropractic school but 500 less hours (DC=4800 hrs vs MD=4600 hrs.). DC's complete courses on toxicology and pharmacology too. We are very aware of the adverse events produced by medications. In fact the U.S DHHS revealed last year 200,000 Americans died from blood pressure meds., 225,000 died from NSAIDS, 125,000 died by MD misdiagnosis, 16,000 died on the operating table, etc. ("Death by Medicine" by Gary Null, PhD.)

@chiropractic47 You absolutely shock me, are you part of the scientific community? Do you have a degree? Are you a peer in any leading journal? Of course the answer to all of these is no judging on your previous statements, but just for clarity please confirm it.

Actually, I'd say that's a good thing. People dying in medical care is a good thing, because that means they're not getting killed by measles, pneumonia or infections at home. people who die in a hospital, from heart failure, cancer at age 60 is someone who didn't die from cholera or tetanus from he was 30. so, in a way, it's a good thing.

You are a really... really... REALLY boring person if all you have to do all day is start discussions like this on youtube videos ;) Medicine helps people, yes they do get it wrong from time to time, but the majority of their work, well works. And what the statistics saying that the US Medical care is the third largest killer in the US - those results were taken by how many people die in hospital. So a third of people in the US die because they are ill - that's so terrible...

@chiropractic47 : Your a lying sac of shit... and a dangerous one at that. Ive come to learn form other chiropractors who got their training from considerably more reputable institiutions than "Life University" that you should actually be pitied for that fact, certainly not admired. I underatand that having that alma mater is something of a mark of shame among the chiropractic community these days... no wonder your so hell bent on playing it up like its something to be proud of. Just so sad.
hadr0n, you implied ...   (chiropractic47)14.3.2010
hadr0n, you implied; when medicine and pharma are not satisfied with a clinical trial they reload data then repeat clinical trials. If this is the case then what the f$%k happened with Viox's clinical trials resulting in its dispention and ultimately take thousands of lives before the FDA pulled it from the market? What about the numerous other medications proven to kill more than help and subsequently pulled? If your correct, wouldn't we presume they too ran the gauntlet of clinical trials?
