| @elliotmotoX listen, your also very very wrong. they have exhaust pipes but no muffler. a muffler is what makes back pressure. all racing engines will have a small graded muffler that mearly muffles any noise as it would in most cases be a legal requirement. as i said notice dragsters dont have a "muffler" but they just ahave a plain tuned pipe. because it is the shape of the pipe on four strokes that effects the mollecule flow just out of the engine. | |

| If back pressure is not needed on 4 strokes why do all the top GP race bikes, Grand Prix cars, dragster etc all have exhaust pipes? I don't know the exact reason why they need back pressure but If you have ever seen a dyno test of a bike without a muffler you will notice the HP readings are far lower. | |
