| dunno...a part of the material recorded at woodstock, mostly bootleg tapes like this one, have been sped-up but i really don't know the reason why. it's a bootleg character | |

| the woodstock movie shows only a little of the whole concert, the best songs of the concert. you should look for the bootleg tapes if you are a fan of the concert as I do. | |

| In the book called "Bad Moon Rising" by Hank Bordowitz Stu and Doug complain how almost no one knows that CCR were headliners at Woodstock. (including me) The reason they don't appear on anything is because John listened to a master that the Woodstock producers sent him and refused permission for them to be on the recording. They were the first "headliner" bands signed and were paid $10,000 (eventually) They followed the Grateful Dead at something like 3 AM and everyone was passed out, lol | |

| We all know how great John is but listen to Stu's outstanding bassline figure. I don't know why John disliked their performance at Woodstock and refused permission (see my other post) because to me they sounded good on the bootlegs I've heard. This one is obviously sped up but you can still hear great quaility in the musicianship. | |
