But did Elvis write any of his own material? ( I am not sure but I doubt it). Berry​'s songs define life and are utterly timeless. He created the doors for Elvis to open and use/abuse, as did and do many other artists to this day. Some bands, The Stones for example, do not hide the fact they are but copiers of original black music as Berry and the (equally marvellous and influential) Elmore James. Com​mend Elvis by all means....but you cannot diss the brilliance and influence of Berry.

Yes Elvis open the doors for all blues artists He never write a song but that doesn't mean he was not creative he create new syle, sound He takes old blues songs and transform with country and gospel he never copied he never sing same way.
