@grantogeir: nobody also beat the Soviet Union at killing their own citizens (think Ukraine 1932-1933) (maybe except for Cambodia, another workers' paradise). But if we extend your argement a bit, why do you think that USSR failed and become quasi- capitalistic instead of the US becoming communist? If you can answer this question, you can answer all.

if you're talking about economic growth no one have ever beaten the record of the Soviet Union. Fastest economic growth in a country ever from 1917-1940.

I believe that it is in a Google video that is still up called "Exception to the Rulers: Media in Democracy". It is a long video (nearly two hours) and the brief debate comes near the end during the question period.

Nice job. Of course, I think (and I hope) that you can add much more to this. The Perle debate is incredible; there's a good bit that he has with Donahue on youtube; there was a google vid where he loses it on someone who accuses him of supporting the Iraq sanctions; a good video here where he responds to a question about him calling the Soviet Union a dungeon...etc

i think that Buckley is nothing like o reilly. I mean Buckley - in spite of his political views, which I strongly disagree with - had some style, some class. O'Reilly has neither.
