I don't think they're thrash. Lol, i still think they're a melodic death metal band, but just not the same elements were used like before. When I think thrash, I think Slayer, Anthrax, Exodus, old school Metallica and Megadeth.

Mainstream might be an extreme word for "metal", which on a global basis is always "underground". However, Bodom became extremely popular after Are You Dead Yet, especially among people who used to tell me that Hatebreeder sucks (apart from Silent Night, Bodom Night..) The change is noticeable

I got into bodom with the Something Wild Album, I loved Red Light In My Eyes, Bodom Beach Terror, LakeBodm, And Mass Hypnosiss ( this one got me into Sepultura they are way awesome too) I love how they took one of their inspiration's​ classic songs and made it something that is originally theirs in their own way. My first Cob vid I saw was trashed lost and strung out. Ilove that song.
