Old Cob the solos sounded far more classical. They wern't as fast but are more melodic. Old CoB Lyrics are even more difficult to understand. I​ personally prefer the new Bodom. Songs such as Downfall and Kissing the shadows are just to good. (From Hatebreeder and Follow the Reaper albums)

Old or new COB... whatever. Every band has to come up with something new every time. Transformation is absolutely natural and necessary. I also like the old Bodom songs better than new ones, especially live. But I still listen to Blooddrunk for the sick guitar solos.
