Charice Vs. Leona Vs. Whitney
Leona Lewis, Charice Pempengco, and Whitney Houston singing I Have Nothing, a little mixed together. Couldn't really do the 'trio' thing properly because Leona's X-Factor live performance was much shorter than the original, missing the second verse. Kinda worked around it. A little background on these three versions: Whitney Houston sang this in the film The Bodyguard. Written by David Foster and Linda Thompson, I Have Nothing was the third single released from The Bodyguard soundtrack. It went on sale February 20 1993. Philipino singer, Charice Pempengco, sang I Have Nothing on the Oprah Winfrey show in May 2008. The song features on Charice's debut album. Leona Lewis sang I Have Nothing in the semi-final of X-Factor series 3 (2006). I Have Nothing is popular on Simon Cowell's various incarnations of the X-Factor worldwide, and is one of the most performed songs on American Idol, tied for first place with Phil Collins' Against All Odds. Erm... I don't know.
