And how do they get to be post doc? By going all through college and grad school for free? They have to pay tuition somewhere along the line. And that means non-resident tuition which is HIGHER than tuition for the natives. FYI I have undergrad degrees in Bus. Admin and and Economic. What is your degree in?

Firstly, post docs get PAID by the university, they don't pay to the university, this is something very basic and every freshman knows this stuff, tells me that you have never set foot inside a unversity classroom because you obviously don't even know the basics of university system. Getting that degree instead of whining on online forums might help you in life, both professionally and personally

It puzzles me that you didn't read this fine print when considering the merit of this ranking, from the list itself, here it is " Like all lists of top universities and colleges, the criteria used to determine rank is somewhat subjective. We highly recommend that you use our list of top 100 universities and colleges as a rough guide." So as you said if IITians are losers, MIT's and UCB's are bigger losers considering that they admit a lot of IITians and even employ a lot of them

That link is purely speculative, for one thing Indian universities aren't certainly the best when you consider say arts or a program like journalism, but some of them are very good in Engineering/M​anagement/Pure​ Sciences(alth​ough this is in decline in India these days).

Google "Top 100 universities", 3rd link down. Top U.S. universities have lots of post docs because 1) Indians cheat their way through school, 2) the tuition is higher for foreigners and the schools are greedy. Fact​ is, IIT is not even in the top 100. So they are losers.

Well, I took my resumes, put an Indian name at the top, a new email address, and put it on dice - didn't change anything else. Suddenly I got flooded with over 5 offers every day - just by changing the name on the resume to Indian. Just shows what a PR job India, Inc. has done on stupid businesspeople in America. Besides, I don't need a job, I have a book deal to write an iPhone dev book so you lose.

There are numerous universities in USA too which give dummy degrees, first crackdown those ones. I can name atleast 20 universities in USA which do that, they just take international​ students for their money, mistake is also there on the student's part having come to such universities without verifying what their program is, and how good it is. But it is wrong to club everyone in the same bracket, there are some brilliant students that I know have been victimized for no fault of their own
