@Cadkls There is no "English" and "American". It's British-Engli​sh, and American-Engl​ish. Just like the north and south areas in the State's use separate wordings, it's still the same language. Just because you say "Telly" and I say "Television" doesn't mean we use a separate language. Also, do you not know your history? You remember what country pretty much owned the world back in the 1800's? Which country unfairly taxed us when we where it's citizens, which country drove us to be separate?

@Cadkls I'm quite amazed at your ignorance. First off, English is not 'your' language, it is a mix of many languages. Secondly, we changed the spelling of some words and changed a few words, we did not change the language in any way. You do, of course, know that people can share a language with a few changed words? The south and north of the US don't use English the same way. Does that mean they have their own languages? Also, it's "British-Engl​ish" and "American-Eng​lish".
