Stealth is not a black/white issue...there​ are a million shades of gray. The b2 is a million times more stealthy than the F117. The F22 is also much more stealthy than the F117.

Stealth aircraft can still be detected with an advanced radar and carefully placed air defense system. But it's harder to detect by smaller radars like mobile sams and other aircraft, making it harder to kill and therefore better chance of mission success. The F-117 for example, it flew thousands of sorties and only one was shot down about enemy air space with sam sites. That's a very good testament of stealth technology, giving a little edge over conventional aircrafts.

stealth090: ​If you go to college and get a degree and then sign up in the Air Force by locking in a contract for a pilot of your choice. They can make that deal. If you just sign up front in an open contract then they will give you a job they need filling in. To be a pilot, you have to be an officer and have a college degree.

I almost joined the AF until I learned how shit REALLY works with all that. 99% of people who join the af want to be a pilot...less than 1% do. The rest of them support planes, refueling, doing maintenance, etc. The thing that made me LOL was the fact you have to sign a contract with the military b4 hand....meani​ng you say "hey i want to be a pilot, they say sorry we have all the pilots we need. U'll b a mechanic" LOL
