I don't believe it's wrong for a Christian to have a sense of humor. God has a sense of humor- where do you think we got it from?? As long as it's not offensive and it's in good fun and not discrediting or disrespecting​ God, I see no problem. The Gaithers have humor in their programs, as do a lot of other Christian comedians. Thank goodness we can have Christian comedians and have something actually clean and funny to laugh at!

He didn't do or say anything dirty. He didn't put any body down. Do we have to be uptight all the time because we serve God? How can we draw people and never laugh? I do know that the pulpit is not the only place for God's word to come across. We all can justify any thing we want. But I am going to stand on what the word of God. Therefore, I do not believe we should take any part of the scriptures and jest.

No where in the bible does it say that the message is to come from the pulpit now it does say that men will be saved by the foolishness of preaching 1Corinthians 1:21 but that doesnt mean you have to preach from the pulpit thats whats wrong with alot of churches today we want to stay in the pulpit and dont want to get out of the four walls of our respective churches what about all the people that dont go to church how are they to hear the message
